Heath has obtained favorable jury verdicts in cases involving wrongful death, surgical complications including paralysis, catastrophic brain injury and other permanent disabilities, guardianship, and alleged “never events”. He is a former board member for the Washington Medical-Legal Partnership, dedicated to helping people in vulnerable populations during times of crisis. He has also served as an adjunct professor of law and part-time lecturer at Seattle University School of Law and the University of Washington School of Law, respectively, teaching health law.
