Michaela protects the interests of healthcare entities and its individual providers. Her practice focuses on medical malpractice defense and complex hospital guardianship matters. Michaela also advises clients in general liability claims and administrative disputes.
While in law school, Michaela interned with the Washington State Hospital Association, where she worked with hospital clients on a variety of legislative matters. She also interned with a prominent Washington healthcare provider gaining experience with transactional and litigation matters on behalf of providers. These roles have allowed Michaela to gain valuable insight into healthcare facility operation and inform her work in defending professional liability claims.
